When it comes to vinyls, the ones I look for are very rare so I didn’t bother browsing the store and just asked the lady who worked there if they had Joe “My name is Joe”
Her response
“Just take a look in the r&b soul section and it’s all alphabetical”
The point of me asking not for you to tell me to browse a section for it. I didn’t appreciate her tone, and didn’t seem to care too much.
Got recommended by Ronald Records to check here if they had the vinyl I wanted
Typical, nothing special in selections when you drill down. Polite and helpful owner. Pain in the butt for looking at half the inventory which is on the floor. Reissues and represses were priced too high as if older pressings. No return policy on anything used and no listening station. The higher prices she asks for should allow for one or the other.
The owner Miki is so awesome and I always love whatever they have out! Something always intrigues me there. And my experience selling a few of my vinyl records was actually quite exquisite compared to other places I’ve gone to! Top tier place:)
Excellent record store with a solid stock of sought after vinyl. Street parking only.
I think I found my new favorite place. I thought I’d call first to ask if they had the record I was looking for. The owner, she was so helpful and friendly on the phone. She let me know she had recently sold it but there was one coming in this week’s shipment and asked if I’d like her to hold it for me. I said yes and when I went in today, it was waiting for me! I love the whole vibe of the store and I can’t wait to be back when I have more time to find my next record.
Miki was great! The store is small but they have a very big selection of all sorts of music. Musicals. Jazz. New releases & so much more. Highly recommend as everyone working was super nice!
Cozy, with a smaller but good mixed selection. Really nice owners. Feels local and right. Next door to the comic shop so coffee, records and comics is a great way to spend a Saturday in Vancouver!
LOVE this shop. The owner is so nice and she's always so helpful. The records are in great alphabetical order which makes it SO nice and easy to browse. Definitely my favorite record store to go to.
